If you’ve ever watched the film Jingle All The Way starring Arnold Schwarzenegger when he promises his son a Turbo Man action figure for Christmas. It ends up being sold out everywhere and that begins a mad series of events as he desperately searches to get his hands on one.
Well, last year in Christmas 2021 we witnessed an online scramble for the Hatchimals, they were the must-have toy, and unfortunately, a lot of children were left disappointed when they were sold out way before Christmas. Desperate parents tried their best; no parent wants their child to miss out.
Some savvy of crafty individuals who could see the toy was going to be sold out, went and stocked up. Then sold them for twice the price on eBay, people were willing to pay just to get their hands on one.
This year the Fingerlings have been voted the must-have toy for Christmas 2021.
What are Fingerlings
Fingerlings are Baby Monkey toys that love hanging onto your finger and know when they’re being touched, talked to, and even hung upside down! These perfect primate pets come to life with over 50 animations to let you know how they feel. You’ll fall in love with these sweet and sometimes silly critters with their realistic monkey sounds, adorable blinking eyes, and head turns, plus hands that grip and a curly hanging tail. You can swing them, pet them, hug and kiss them, plus rock them to sleep!
As you can imagine, people learned from last year and as a result, started purchasing the Fingerlings in early September.
I’m writing this article in the first week of October and as of right now the Fingerlings are totally sold out across the UK. All the major high street retailers like Toys R Us, Argos, Smyths Toys have totally sold out of all their stock. They’re currently running pre-order sales and are expecting stock at the end of October or the beginning of November.
But the stock won’t be around for long, the demand is huge that is outstripping supply by a long way. If our child definitely wants one then I recommend you get ordering right away.
As you can imagine many sellers have jumped on the bandwagon but you have to be careful where you buy your Fingerling. There are people selling on eBay, I’ve done my research and will say to avoid buying off eBay. The majority of sellers are China-based and are not official retailers of Fingerlings. They are selling cheap replicas that could be potentially dangerous for little children.
You need to buy from the main outlets like your Toys R Us, Argos, Smyths, Tesco, Asda, etc.
If you want to buy online then I recommend it Amazone. This website is part of The Entertainer Group UK, they have been established for a long time and are reputable distributors of the Wowwee Fingerlings and other products. I personally purchased 3 Fingerlings from them for my daughter and nieces and received them in a super quick time.
So if you don’t want a disappointed child on Christmas day, get buying your Fingerlings today, you’ve been warned.
